What is Vibrational Sound Therapy?
Simply put, Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) is a one-on-one session where you lay fully clothed on a massage table and I place and strike therapeutic grade Himalayan singing bowls on your body. The goal is to produce a deep mental and physical state of relaxation. I incorporate simple breathwork techniques into your session because breathwork can hasten your body entering into a truly relaxed parasympathetic state. None of the breathwork techniques I use are activating to your nervous system, they are all very gentle.
Vibrational Sound Therapy is a fantastic way for people who want to spend some time reducing stress in a self-care setting but who may not like a lot of physical hands on touch, like with massage therapy. In my VST sessions, only the bowls touch your body.

So many of us are moving through our days at a mental and physical pace that is out of sync with what we truly need as human beings. Society glorifies a workaholic mentality, and “balance” often looks like a work-hard, play-hard lifestyle. Most people are no longer regularly taking time to consciously pay attention to their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. All of these bodies exist within us. We are particularly good at ignoring or putting our mental, emotional and spiritual needs on hold. It is the physical symptoms we can’t ignore that cause us to finally stop and evaluate how we spend our precious time.
Understand this: Your other bodies likely spoke first. Your brain told you, “I’m tired, give me a little more rest.” Your mind told you “I wasn’t treated fairly, and I need resolution.” Your spirit told you “I need to be in nature, smell the trees or look within for comfort.” And when you didn’t listen, time and again, for months, years and decades, the physical body shows the weight of what it has carried, in a way that can no longer be ignored.
Vibrational Sound Therapy uses sound and vibration to help calm all of your bodies. It is a step towards acknowledging every beautiful part of what makes up your existence. We quiet the physical body in a safe environment which allows space for healthy energy flow throughout all your bodies. It often leaves people feeling calm and rested, with a feeling of relaxation similar to that brought about by yoga, tai chi or meditation. Learn more about the benefits of VST here.
Hi, I’m Robin.
I would be honored to introduce you to Vibrational Sound Therapy. My deep life-long love of music and sound, entangled with a health crisis in 2020 is what ultimately led me to discover VST. In 2022 I became a Certified Practitioner through the Vibrational Sound Association with the intent of sharing this gift with my friends and family. Since then I have witnessed the powerful effects of VST with so many people who now share my love with this calming, peaceful and meditative modality.
I have a particular ambition to share VST with women of all ages. I consider understanding the importance of regulating your nervous system a true gift to women who juggle so much throughout all the stages of their lives. You can learn more about me here.
